ruVPN Partner Agreement
1. Partner status
1.1. Partner status is not granted automatically. ruVPN manually reviews each application. Before approval, an applicant may not present the ruVPN brand as evidence of confirmed partner status.
2. Referral model
2.1. A referral partner receives a code, link, or other identifier. Orders are attributed through promo codes, ref parameters, UTM tags, or other attribution saved at checkout. Commission is credited on confirmed payments.
3. Reseller model
3.1. A reseller funds an internal balance and creates services through the panel or API. The reseller manages its own customers; ruVPN does not send standard access emails to reseller customers and instead delivers events through callbacks or long polling.
4. Reseller prices
4.1. A reseller may set its own retail price, but it may not be lower than ruVPN's undiscounted public price for the same plan and period. The ruVPN API rejects an order when customer_price is below the minimum public price.
5. Reseller balance and discounts
5.1. The reseller discount depends on sales volume: 15% initially, then 30% and 50% at higher tiers. Balance is debited when a service is created. If funds are insufficient, the API returns an error and no service is created.
6. Referral commissions
6.1. Referral commission is calculated on the amount actually paid after discounts. A zero-value order is recorded in history but earns no commission. Commissions are posted to the partner's internal balance.
7. Refunds and chargebacks
7.1. A refund or payment dispute is recognized only after notification by the payment provider. On CHARGEBACKED, the order commission is reversed, the service may be disabled, and commission history is retained for audit.
8. Prohibited conduct
8.1. Spam, misleading advertising, promises not made by ruVPN, use of the ruVPN brand in phishing domains, bulk creation of fictitious orders, and conduct that violates law or third-party rights are prohibited.
9. API and notifications
9.1. The reseller must keep its API key secret. The callback secret verifies notifications. When callbacks are unavailable, events may be retrieved by long polling.
10. Termination
10.1. ruVPN may revoke partner status for violations, suspected fraud, refund abuse, or material infrastructure risk. Commission and order history is retained for accounting.
